This September, the world's greatest cyclists will visit Wollongong!
The UCI Road World Championships will be held in Wollongong, Australia, from September 18 to 25, 2022, about 80 kilometres from Sydney.
Over 1,000 of the world's best cyclists from more than 70 countries will battle for a gold medal and the coveted rainbow jersey. It is one of the top five athletic events in the world, with over 300 million viewers watching from all around the world.
It will be unlike any other event Wollongong has ever seen.
