Extreme rain protection woman winter jacket
The VEGA collection for women is a unique system of clothing designed so you can face any type of winter weather - from cool to very cold, to breezy, to soaking wet. Working with fabric partner POLARTEC, VEGA is a carefully-designed system, shaped with careful patternmaking to protect you perfectly without compromising each piece’s fit and comfort. Wear our VEGA system to be ready for any conditions and reduce the total number of clothing items you need to own (and carry).
EXTREME RAIN PROTECTION
Made of POLARTEC®’s Powershield Pro fabric, totally waterproof (5000 mm water column) while remaining light and breathable. Ideal for very wet weather, the jacket is completely thermowelded.
ENHANCED FIT AND INSULATION
Ergonomically-cut waterproof sleeve cuffs and tail made from fleece-lined Superroubaix fabric, with a fully waterproof PU outer layer to repel water. Waterproof internal zipper flap.
EXTRA WATERPROOF STORAGE
Additional zippered waterproof rear pocket lined with a breathable membrane fabric.
HIGH VISIBILITY
Reflective shoulder band, back insert and reflective Santini logo on the back tail to ensure maximum safety in the darkest hours.

Polartec® Power Shield®
Featured in our Vega Multi jackets, POLARTEC® Power Shield® is a resilient 3-layer fabric that protects against the elements, but without the stiff hand and loud noise of a hard shell. This allows Power Shield® to provide greater comfort, while defending against strong winds, rain, snow, and even abrasive surfaces. Power Shield® has a 5000 mm water column resistance and unlike other protective layers, Power Shield’s® microporous membrane easily releases excess heat and moisture vapor for dry conditions both inside and out.
PU Coating
All our Vega range products feature inserts in Superoubaix fabric with a water-proof PU coating, on the back tail and cuffs, to enhance the garments’ performance. The coating creates a water and dirt repellent guard that protects while pedalling, while the Superoubaix fabric maintains warmth and allows for perfect fit.
