Official Tour de France Cycling Collection

100% Cycling DNA. Here at Santini we’ve always believed in this sport. It’s in our DNA, our mind, our legs. From the legendary stories, we know each off by heart, every stretch of tarmac that is ridden on, and every jersey that is worn.

The Tour de France's four jersey colours—yellow (maillot jaune), green (maillot vert), red polka dots (maillot à pois rouges) and white (maillot blanc)—represent the spirit of the Grand Boucle as well as the riders who put their heart and soul into riding through the brutal and relentless race. As Official Merchandise partners release your inner champion with Santini and be part of every stage in this amazing sporting event - wearing one of these exclusive jerseys.

Overall Leader - Maillot Jersey

The yellow jersey is the ultimate symbol of success in the Tour de France, representing the overall leader based on their time across the entire race. To win it, riders must be highly skilled and tacticians, with a deft touch for both climbing and time trialling. Additionally, they must be strong enough to keep up with the peloton as rival teams try to drop them at every turn. Contending for the maillot jaune is a huge challenge, but one that comes with great reward; the honour of being called the champion of this iconic race.

Best Sprinter - Maillot Vert Jersey

The green jersey symbolises success for any rider looking to be crowned the King of Consistency in the Tour de France. It goes to whoever leads the Points Classification - points are awarded based on the type of stage profile, with more given at the finish line of flatter stages, traditionally where sprinters excel. To win this coveted title requires much more than just sheer speed, it's a combination of excellence and endurance. The victor must be able to consistently pick up points on all types of terrain and show great perseverance throughout the race. It’s a true mark of resilience in cycling!

King of the Mountain - Maillot à Pois Rouges Jersey

The polka dot jersey is awarded to the leader of the Mountains Classification, also known as King of the Mountains. Points are given to riders who reach the summit of climbs on each stage, classified from category 1 (most difficult) up to hors catégorie (“beyond category”). The amount of points depends on the difficulty and length of the climb, so sometimes milder climbs will be in a higher category if they come at the end of a stage. To succeed in this competition you must be an exceptional climber - often lightweight and powerful. This contest really comes alive during mountain stages, where most points can be earned.

The white jersey is a coveted prize for young riders in the General Classification. It goes to the rider aged 25 or under who has achieved the lowest overall time. This award gives inspiring young cyclists the chance to showcase their skills and ambition and achieve a level of recognition comparable to that of winning yellow.
